We can carry out BMS energy surveys that are directly linked to a customer’s system and its performance in terms of energy usage.
The BS EN15232 is an independent standard that is specifically designed for BMS performance/setup and the influence it has on a building’s energy consumption. It looks at how much of the BMS is demand driven and to what extent this has an effect on energy efficiency.
We offer options of improvement and indicate the return on investment that can be achieved. This is done using real data from the site.
We interrogate the existing BMS system, how it functions against the standard and what solutions can be offered to provide better practice (as outlined in BS EN15232) to give the most achievable energy efficiency measures.
The report produced can indicate anything from showing how well a BMS is being used, to simple cost effective strategy changes offering quick wins and almost immediate payback. Alternatively it can provide a more complex result which may involve adding new equipment and strategy changes. Whatever the outcome, the report fully details the potential return on investment.
The BS EN15232 survey and reports enable us to help our clients take back control of their Building Management System, using an independently verified set of British and European standards.
